Three superb pitches made for an exciting evening at the last MKIG presentation evening of the year. All three promoted products – each very different – which harness the power of digital technology to do one of the things that data analysis does best, to transform the efficiencies within established industries.
First up was Tim Butler presenting his Store Analysis Machine, a software service designed to maximize revenues in fast food outlets. Next came Dr Matthew Bacon with TCC Casemix. Matthew has studied hospital management and his software seeks to maximise efficiencies within NHS and European operating theatres. Finally Chris Kelly, based at Cranfield’s Eagle Lab, presented Tomorrow’s Journey, a disruptive and innovative car sharing platform for fleet managers.
All three products have the capability to earn large revenues and all three pitches generated considerable interest. The discussions continued long after the formalities of the evening had ended.
